Anyway, all I meant to say was this girl is so much prettier and just plain hot than any of the actors I've ever seen in any staged porn videos. I used to just think I didn't like porn until discovering the home-made variety. It's completely different. I do wish there were ways to compensate girls like the one in this video, for being able to watch them (but that is an entirely other conversation, well worth having).

I don't connect with the narrow idea of "beauty" and "sexiness" that is so prevalent; no offense intended to the performers, and of course I wouldn't want them to lose their jobs, but that blow-up barbie doll "porn star" sort of look, it's just really not my thing, and I wonder to what extent people's ideas of attractiveness are formed and distorted by the ubiquitous representations of this like very specific body type... sort of like a cultural brainwashing, maybe?

I don't really get the appeal of scripted porn. It's detractors -- the few who comment on the matter -- usually cite "fakeness" as its major failing, but that aspect is obvious even to those who enjoy the traditional studio-produced format, and, well, it clearly doesn't bother them.
